I’m very happy. I moved to a Bose soundbar 900 w bass module 700 from a traditional 5.1 w Aperion speakers and sub with a Denon receiver. The 5.1 sounded better, hands down. But, we were remodeling our TV room and decided to go minimalist. Also, we have kids and wanted something easy for the whole f

+1 for the ES speakers as well. I just started my HT setup a year ago after transitioning from the Bose SB900 soundbar. Difference is definitely noticeable. Didn’t know these were “budget” speakers so now I feel poor 😂

I thought they were discontinued, but someone posted that Bose said they’re temporarily out of stock. I’ve been waiting for decent surrounds for three years. I tried the 700s w my soundbar 900/bass module 700 and was disappointed with their sound. I returned them after just a couple of days. Bose ha

I tried and returned them. They sound thin/anemic, even if you can get the volume up to a desirable level. No upward firing drivers, so sound at the rear of the room is linear compared to the high and wide sound produced by my soundbar 900. Also, they come with a mess of wiring and external power br

If full surround is your goal, I'd recommend the Samsung over the Bose. I have the Bose soundbar 900 (the Ultra without AI dialogue) with bass module 700 and returned the surround 700s because they sound anemic. Because they don't have upward drivers, the soundstage at the rear of the room becomes l

I’ve recently bought a Bose soundbar 900 ultra and as a standalone sound system it’s great for movies and music alike as long as you tune it to your room using that headset thing you get. I’ve compared it to soundbars such as ones from LG, Sonos, and Samsung (from friend’s homes) and the Bose is bes

I have a similar sized room, 2 story tall. Tried both and went Bose….room tuning just sounded better to my ears, more presence in the vocals. Admittedly I do like the Bose sound signature - sounds great on everything. Music really pops when a soundtrack kicks in…. I did think the Arc surround effect

Bose used to do a better job at making firmware info available, but it seems they stopped last year. The last update I see for the Ultra is version 6. I have the soundbar 900 and same thing…the site info is outdated.

Go with the Sonos setup. I've had both at home (Bose soundbar 900 with Bass module 700 and speakers 700 and now Arc Ultra + Sub 4 + Era 300). Bose speakers 700 are totally useless.
