Eink 212 DPI vs 300 DPI
Yes there is. Have a look at the sentence “oh, my god…” You can tell there a difference in font about which one is clear the bigme b6 wins for sure. Also i feel the bigme has a tad bit better contrast. but then again for day to day use i would not bother

Are Android e-readers actually too distracting?
I have a Bigme B6 and honestly I don’t think they are distracting at all, I have my e-reader apps and that’s it, for the Bigme b6 I also followed some debloating tips to help remove some of the extra stuff. Even though it’s android the screen is not good enough for games or video apps along with som

Kobo or Boox: Which did you choose? FAQ feedback appreciated.
If you want to run any app what is out there, get an Android e-reader. Makes it can be a Kindle, Pocketbook, Kobo, Libby (using all accounts), it can be whatever you want including Koreader + no need to make file conversions. And it handles PDF files like a dream. Also comics and manga will be way s

What is so bad about Boox ereaders?
My experiences with Boox: Poke 4s: it's a 2nd hand. I had it returned (to the shop that sold it as a trade in for the next Boox) because the battery is simply too bad. Last maybe 2 days max. Because of the only very short time with it, nothing about its real merit can be said. Brand new Boox Tab Ult

Boox Go or Palma
I've done reasearch on it, and honestly, while the Palma is long and narrow, the Go 6 is shorter, but wider. They're both small devices. THIS video compares them. The palmas are significantly higher spec'd, and thus are faster. The Go 6 only has 2gb of ram, so a lot of people say it's sluggish. Go 6

Ereader recommendations needed
Unfortunately with those parameters, what you are looking for does not exist, unless I am mistakenly thinking you want a stylus type of note taking ability. The closest you will get is something like the Bigme B6, which is a small 6” size, color, affordable for color, but you will have to peck at th

[MOAAN:True Color E-ink Paper Tablet with Mag Charging Cover] Update today makes it no longer in color
If you don’t care about the stylus, then I personally own the Bigme B6 and love it. It has some weird UI and crappy baked in software, but it has Google Play out of the box so all I had to do was install Niagara Launcher and regular useful apps and it’s perfect. All of the buttons can be remapped, t

Best budget (least expensive) color E-reader that uses an E-ink display?
Honestly, you just think you want to read comics on e-ink. Realistically, it's not really there yet. and a 6" or 7" reader is just too small, you would want an 8' color tablet at a minimum, in my opinion. Some will say a 7" reader is good enough, but it seems tiny to me. A tablet is still the best f

Bit stuck—don’t want a kindle or a kobo
You might be better off with an android eink ereader since you can download the Kindle and Libby apps directly from the Google Play Store. I assume you're in Canada since you mentioned you don't have access to Libby on Kindle, so I'm not sure if you can find an android ereader for less than $200 CAD

Failed Boox Palma 2 Screen
Unfortunately Boox has really crappy customer service and they refuse to honor their warranty. They'll always blame the customer even when it's not their fault. I've read that their screens on the Palma are so tightly screwed in that they're constantly under pressure and will eventually break becaus
