High-Quality, Comfortable Headphones for Digital Piano
Hi. I have a pair of Beyerdynamic DT900 Pro X which I’m really happy with. They are very comfy, and thanks to them being open-back, I can play for long sessions without getting tinnitus (which I had with closed-back, only with the piano. Still using my closed-back for movies, music, etc…). I really

Headphones to wear?
Long time I used Bose QC35 II with(!) cable attached, to mix and master. That was kind of fine. But affordable are these not, but I had them lying around anyway. Later I invested in (actually cheaper) Beyerdynamic DT770 Pro X, which are open and quite comfortable to wear. My Laptops internal soundca

DT 900 Pro X user, should i buy Maxwell now for 250€ or Maxwell 2?
Have the DT900 PRO and a pair of Maxwell's. My advice. Save your money you current headset is infinitely more comfortable and the wire is a minor inconvenience. The sound is different and much wider and open. You'll hate the weight of the Maxwell and "closed in" sound compared to open backs.

Questions & Recommendations for My First Beyerdynamic (DT 700 Pro X)
I just got them as well (the open back 900 version). The ear cups are very very comfortable, the material is quite fluffy (more so than the 770/990 models) so with the closed back version I would expect a little bit of heat buildup but I doubt it's an issue since the cups are quite large, also proba

Is the DT 700 Pro X a good choice for everyday use (music, games, movies)?
I bought the DT900 pro X's (functionally a very similar pair) for the same use case around 3 years ago and I have to say I haven't regretted it one bit. Obviously the sound and comfort are good but what has really impressed me is the build quality and repeatability. I had an issue with the cable con

Comfortable headphones for in-headphone mixing?
In over-ear headphones, there's the choice between open and closed back.If your intention is to just play to yourself, keeping the headphones on continuously I would suggest an open-back studio headphone. But some of these studio headphones require a headphone out with higher impedance, which DJ mix

Lot of pain on cheekbone
Like others have said, I would research other pads. Be aware that they can drastically change the way the headphones sound. I bought different ones for my Grado headphones and couldn't use them because they totally ruined the sound. I have the Beyerdynamic DT 900 Pro x and the 770 Pro 80 ohm and fin

DT 770 PRO OR DT 770 PRO X LE
Yeah I returned the LEs. I actually went and purchased a pair of DT900 Pro X and I have been so happy with them. The LEs were just hard to listen to for me with the highs being so harsh.
