That does not look normal based on my experience having evaluated a PD3226G for about a month before returning it. I returned it because the 144Hz refresh rate did nothing for me. BenQ PD3226G has everything I want in my ideal professional monitor, but...
Like u/Chill_Climber I was considering buying the PD3226G. Sadly, HDMI 2.1 is not supported on Linux with AMD graphics cards. This is really a poor choice on BenQ's end.
