Apple studio alternatives?

I just got the new BenQ MA320UP as an alternative, it’s got a 32“ nano-gloss panel in 4K, Mac color matching, 60Hz and integrated hub (90W power delivery) for $600. (27“ version would be the MA270UP) If you want 5K, nano-gloss and Thunderbolt 4, there’s also the MA270S just around the corner. Anothe

Best 4k 32 inch monitor for mac mini

I bought a 32" benq ma320u 4k monitor. Its outstanding. You dont need more than 60hz if you aren't gaming. No advantage to using thunderbolt to mac mini or display port with 4k at 60hz. Use the hdmi port and save the thunderbolt ports on mac mini for external storage. As others have said, magic keyb

Choosing a monitor for my new Mac mini 4

I went with another 32" 4k BenQ ma320u. Love it. Looks great. Got it for $599 and run it scales at 2560x1440. They now have a glossy panel option, the model ends in the letter P. I just don't like glossy screens, so I choose matte. This video is a review of that glossy model and this reviewer should

UPDATE: Mac mini M4 Arrived and I’ve Got Follow-Up Questions as a New Mac User.

I wouldn't necessarily say that they don't look right if you are not on 220, but they are a bit off on the ideal. The question really is whether getting to the ideal is worth the cost of admission on a 5k or 6k display? For me, that answer was an absolute no. But I also don't use my Mac 24 hours a d

Well, since the awaited new Studio Display still sucks and is expensive af, what alternatives do you recommend?

Im running the BenQ 32" ma320u which is 4k. It looks great with the hiDPI enabled in the display pilot 2 software that comes with it. Im running at 2560x1440. I was worried about the 138ppi, but have no regrets.

Best Monitor to Buy Right Now? (Price, Size, Resolution)

I’m using benq ma320up, 32inch 4k ips glossy glass, 98% dci p3, 550 nits brightness. Color is calibrated to match macbook color. All things are trading off, it isn’t ultrawide, 60hz only, but for working purpose, at least for me, color is very accurate, text is sharp, auto temperature like truetone,

Affordable monitor for Mac mini with no scaling issues?

Ive been shopping for a new monitor for my msc mini. At present, I have a cheaper 27" acer that does 2560x1440, but I've never really been happy with the colors. I have it connected via hdmi. I also have a 27" 2k asus proart asus as a secondary monitor on my gaming pc and a primary monitor on my min

Non-Apple monitor suggestions?

I just bought the benq ma320u and it’s outstanding. The software integrates into the Mac, color accuracy is great. I’m running 2560x1440 scaling with hiDPI and it’s outstanding. I wasn’t too tight on space, so the extra size of the 32 was nice for me.

Can I use an M2 IMac to simulate what a mini at 4k will look like?

You can't. At 27" you need a 5k display to do it, and at 32" you need a 6k display to do it. I had a crappy acer 27" 2560x1440 gaming monitor with a va panel hooked to mine. I got monitor used and it has been meh.. whole time. I felt like I didn't use my mac mini much because I didnt like looking at

Moving from iMac to Mac Mini and wondering if I'll like a matte screen...

For normal day to day tasks, photo editing and the like 60Hz is fine. Sure, some people like the smoother experience when they zip windows around and such, but it's not a showstopper by any means. For gaming, I run a high refresh rate display and it makes a bit difference. For my productivity work e
