Indeed before the memory price hike it was 499 for 8745 version with 32G+1T. Absolute win, I'm sad I ordered only one. Still I would consider a 700-750 price tag similarly good today. 889 on Beelink webshop feels a bit too much. I'd rather choose a SER9 Pro with Ryzen 255 for 799 with the same 780M

Sadly due to the ongoing rampocalplypse which is the reason the steam machine is being delayed. It also means a shortage of other parts and machines. I bought a beelink ser9 pro with the HX 370 CPU which has an 890m IGPU In terms of performance it is right in-between a steam deck and a steam machine

Thanks for the answer! I have also looked at the "Beelink SER9 Pro AMD Ryzen™ AI 9 HX 370" with "32GB LPDDR5x-7500 memory (soldered) + 1TB SSD(Pre-order)" which seems like a great deal for just under $2000.
