Is the GTR9 fan meant to be this loud?
sigh..... well for now you "can" hope it goes away however, to be blunt. your fan is most likely broken and needs to be RMA'd, just like my unit and a LOT of other people's unit on this subreddit. For comparison, see my post/video. almost the same noise: https://www.reddit.com/r/BeelinkOfficial/comm

PSA : Please reconsider before buying from BeeLink (GTR 9 Pro experience)
Hey op, sorry for your experience. Even though I don't own a GTR 9 Pro, today I learned about another bullshit from Beelink. Sorry about interjecting your post, but I feel it's important. Yesterday I posted the PSA about not upgrading firmware, since the new firmware will nerf your machine either by

One of the Strongest Mini PCs of 2025! Minisforum MS-S1 Max Review – AMD Strix Halo Power, 128 GB RAM & Radeon 8060S for Professionals & AI
I have Beelink GTR9 Pro for a few days already. My unit is whisper quiet, but at least a few users got broken , really noisy fans. Overall a nice machine unfortunately my unit and at least a few other here on Reddit have major problems with ethernet , major that it does not work (they use an E610 10

Help Needed: Best Mini PC for Local AI Workloads – GTi14 Ultra vs. Minisforum AI X1 Pro or other
For LLM between those 2 specifics models and with a GPU set-up, the GTI14 is still the best option, but the absolute best Mini PC for LLM remaining the ones with the A.I 395, i would avoid the GTR 9 PRO because of the many issues reported in the very Official Beelink reddit sub.

Homelab Server: GEEKOM A9 Max vs Beelink GTI15 Mini
Even though the Core Ultra 9 285H can run hotter than the Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 I lean more towards Intel for homelabs. Besides Minisforum doesn't have the best reputation on this and other forums in recent years. Beelink and GMKtec currently hold top spots with GMKtec being the only manufacturer (Beeli

GTR9 Pro 395 NIC Controller
Havent really kept up the last few weeks but it was mentioned before by somebody else that the Realtek NIC also had crashes. https://bbs.bee-link.com/d/7762-gtr-9-pro-ethernet-malfunction-under-load/517 Now, for myself (still with the Intel NIC), after upgrading to ubuntu 26.04 I havent had any cras

How loud is the fan of a GTR 9 Pro?
cant hear anything on your video, might need to record another video with your phone closer to the device maybe. However, I did have a rattling fan as well and posted about it two months ago (https://www.reddit.com/r/BeelinkOfficial/comments/1nl9h2v/gtr9_pro_grinding_fan_noise/) If your fan actually sou

Install Ubuntu on the GTR9 Pro
Yes, I got the same grinding fan noise and I'm also wating on that fan replacement part. Regarding the Intel NICs crash into recovery mode issue it is well known, extensively discussed here as well and already acknowledged by Beelink as requiring an Intel driver/firmware update to resolve, yet to be

New updated Eth Intel E610 drivers
Reading the beelink forum thread about itGTR 9 Pro Ethernet Malfunction under load, still crashing apparantly although Beelink themselves stated it's only a partial fix (and we dont even know what the partial fix is), so basically, this doesn't solve anything at the moment

anyone get experience of Beelink GTR9 Pro (AI MAX 395)
Check this thread, very nice machine unfortunately at least the current batch has a problem with the network. They partially acknowledge that there is a problem but they blame an Intel driver for now. After testing it for two days it smells more like a hardware problem so preparing to return. But th
