Do you still use a desktop for algorithmic trading, or have laptops caught up?
We use a high core minipc (which is basically a high-end laptop processor with better cooling, so it does less thermal throttling). What's your experience with super speed? Does it really "break the game"?
I use a beelink gti 14 ultra with Intel 185H and an egpu (Linked by the beelink Ex pro Dock). My GPu is a RTX 5090. However I only get 25-30 fps when I get more than 100000 citizens. I’m thinking in buying a proper desktop to use my RTX 5090 without bottleneck but I’m not sure what cpu use.
