Best (brand/model) Ryzen 5XXX constantly below $250?
The "Catch 22" is defining 5XXX. AMD's HyperTransport Lucienne Zen 2 5000 series is little more than a reissue of their 2020 Renoir Zen 2 4000 series under a 2021 standard. Likewise, the Infinity Fabric Architecture Barceló-R Zen 3 7030 series is simply a re-badged Cezanne/Barceló 5000 series APU. T

Migrating from a tiny raspberypi to an actual computer is the best thing I have done
I went from a 4GB Pi4 to a 2012 Mac Mini with a 3rd-gen i7. Slow by today's standards, but still a huge ufgrade, not to mention the switch to a SATA SSD. I'm about to switch to a Beelink EQR5 I got for $240, and that was a very high-performance option. I can get a mini PC that's better than my Mac M

Me Mini good as basic Linux pc?
I think you would be spending money in the wrong places. With the ME Mini, you’re paying for the 6 m.2 slots. For your purposes, probably overkill. You can get something quicker, with a little more RAM, less storage, for less money and still have room to upgrade RAM and storage. I’d look at this if

Best devices for emby, 4K remux (with Windows)
I'm using a Beelink EQR5 mini-PC connected to 48 TB of hard drives via USB. The mini-PC works great. I paid about $350 for it on Amazon, which includes Windows 11. In runs 24/7. Beelink EQR5 Dual LAN Mini PC AMD Ryzen 5 Pro 5650U, 8GB DDR4 500GB PCIe3.0 SSD, AMD Radeon 7CUs 1800MHz, Mini Computer Su

Which MiniPC should i take?b
N95 is too weak for windows (zbën) for a ~$300 budget I would recommend this: https://www.bee-link.com/products/beelink-eqr5?variant=46994723438834(you can play with the options if you want to really go under $300)

Best mini PC for pensioner
I got my mom (with similar needs/expectations) a Beelink EQR5 recently and she adores it. ~$300 USD but goes on sale semi-regularly. It's overkill from a hardware standpoint, but she is comfortable with Windows and really enjoys using it thus far.

Do NOT buy the Mario Galaxy Bundle.
https://www.bee-link.com/products/beelink-eqr5?variant=46994723406066 one of these is pretty much as fast or faster than a switch 2. Get one of these and a steam deck and you have a superior gaming ecosystem.

Need Advice
I've read a lot of bad things too. Acemagic and its sister brands aren't known for customer service are quality. Read a lot of complaints on both Reddit and FB. Also not especially fond of the older technology cheaper Zen 2 5700U. Zen 3 is a better budget option. Spending a little more on the 5825U

What’s the hot take
Any reason u put the Beelink EQR5 over the SER8? I think the SER8 8745 model is the better deal in the beelink lineup.
