Any e-readers that have completely no wifi connectivity?
The Nook SimpleTouch BNRV300 / BNRV350 technically have Wifi but Barnes & Noble have switched off the servers for old Nooks so it's not able to do anything with that WiFi. They are actually pretty good eReaders as well. Touch and physical buttons, not too big. Easy to swap out the battery if needed.

Nook Update
I started with a Nook Simple Touch - my first ever ereader. Then when Barnes and Noble changed things so that I couldn't download my books, and at least one of my books completely disappeared (customer service said, "we're so sorry" but couldn't retrieve my book - and it was a B&N publication!) I wa

Nook Update
My first eReader was a Nook Simple Touch and I liked it (I still have a Glowlight 3). But a couple GL3 updates really irritated me. They got rid of hyphenation, then skewed the fonts to the big side (so the size I had always used is gone) and now (I read) they've gotten rid of the one good font they

Looking for E-Reader without Wifi or at least without built in web browser.
If you're in the US, the Nook range of ereaders from Barnes & Noble does have WiFi, but does not have any web browsing capability unless you do a whole lot of rooting and modifying of the built in OS. I say only in the US as B&N only has purchase options in the US. The hardware will, naturally, work

Looking for recommendations
While I think the Nook Glowlight 4 would be comfortable for you in the hand, do be aware that the Nook has, basically, no customization beyond the built-in font options out of the box. Older Nooks, like the Nook Simple Touch, did have the ability to set custom screensavers, but that's been gone a lo

i prefer the nook reading experience compared to other ereaders
As someone who spent about seven years working for Barnes & Noble, and most of that time as the digital sales lead for Nook. I really loved Nook and thought it was the best thing since Betty White, fighting the good fight against Evil Amazon. However, Nook has never gotten the software support and u

Would you buy a Nook? Why or why not?
No, I would not recommend buying a Nook as an ereader. I do have a Nook Simple Touch, which I bought in order to root it and use it as an Android device. For that purpose, it works well enough. I run a checklist app on it for keeping shopping lists and exercise set lists. When I bought it, I already
