What do you consider the best computer speakers after using it long-term?
Been using a pair of Audioengine A2+ on my desk for years and they’ve held up great for daily stuff. What stuck out long-term is how balanced they sound at low volume. A lot of cheaper speakers only feel “alive” when you crank them, but these don’t. Tried a 2.1 setup before (Logitech Z623) and yeah

This is it, final setup after a year.
It's by far the best speakers I used in a desktop setup. Also tried edifier m60 and audioengine a2+ but this is miles better. There is a good bas for such a small speaker. Is subwoofer necessary?
As someone who just got a sub to pair with my Audioengine A2+, I'd say its very much worth it to get one for a stereo set up. Music now sounds much more complete and fuller and more real.
