What is the best way to go repairing my Audioengine A2?
I just installed (April 2026) replacement drivers for my Audioengine A2 speakers, bought in 2013. A simple email to Audioengine support did the trick. Cost was $50 ($40 for the pair of drivers and $10 shipping). They arrived promptly and were easy to install with the instructions provided. An expand

What do you consider the best computer speakers after using it long-term?
Been using a pair of Audioengine A2+ on my desk for years and they’ve held up great for daily stuff. What stuck out long-term is how balanced they sound at low volume. A lot of cheaper speakers only feel “alive” when you crank them, but these don’t. Tried a 2.1 setup before (Logitech Z623) and yeah

What's the volume control like? Can you go entirely through USB so the only volume source is your PC? I just switched from my Audioengine A2+ active speakers to some Kef Q1 Metas because I got sick of having two seperate volume dials.
