I just use an ASUS ZenWIFI XT9 set to AP mode instead of mesh, wired. That way I avoided locking into a ecosystem.like Ubiquiti. Also any router with WIFI in ap/bridge mode should work like many others recommended.

WiFi 6E tri band vs WiFi 7 dual band mesh which is actually better

I wanted triband but also didn't want to burn my wallet for features that won't be noticeable for 99% of my usage. I went with triband wifi 6. It is a few year old model, but it is a powerhouse.
