Asus ROG Strix XG27UCS - My 1 Week Review (& Return)

I have the new Acer X27U QD-OLED here and let me say, it is worlds ahead of the XG27UCS. The corners are perfect, the picture quality is great, the smoothness is next level good, huge difference. There is a bit of a drop in resolution going from 4k to 2k, however, I think overall it's extremely liva

KTC H27P6 Mini-Review after 48 hours

Question About ASUS ROG Strix XG27UCS: Good for Color Grading (and Gaming)?

The Asus xg27UCS come calibrated to the srgb quite well. It has an srgb mode that tracks the srgb gamma but lock the color control, outside this mode you can use SRGB color gamut emulation setting and it tracks gamma 2.2. You can calibrate the monitor if needed but the white uniformity is an issue w

Just bought a new IPS monitor: Is this bad or normal?

Yeah, it's a pitch-black screen in a completely dark room. I admit the photo itself exaggerates it a little, so it's not as bad to the naked eye. The corner tints (especially the bottom left pink one) are also a little visible even on a white/bright screen. As for the monitor, it's an Asus XG27UCS 4

For Mac Mini scaling: Dell S2725QS (4K, 120Hz, 4ms) or Asus XG27ACS-W (2K, 180Hz, 1ms)?

The scaling was correct, but the monitor felt very cheap and low-quality. The monitor was wobbling a lot on the table. Also, the refresh rate was low. If your budget allows, I would definitely recommend Asus XG27UCS 27" 4K.

Got a new 4K OLED for my main display - debating whether/how to upgrade second display

Thanks for replying. How do enjoy having two OLEDs? Aside from the matching aesthetics (which I also would love to have), do you think it's worthwhile or practical? Right now the PG27UCDM is $100 (Canadian) less than the XG27UCDMG at Best Buy Canada - so I'd probably just go for a second matching PG
