Asus ROG Strix XG27UCS - My 1 Week Review (& Return)

I have the new Acer X27U QD-OLED here and let me say, it is worlds ahead of the XG27UCS. The corners are perfect, the picture quality is great, the smoothness is next level good, huge difference. There is a bit of a drop in resolution going from 4k to 2k, however, I think overall it's extremely liva

If you were building a monitor setup today for 80% productivity and 20% gaming, what would you choose?

I recently am in a similar situation, and ended up getting a XG27UCS. My situation is different as I am heavily limited by what's available in my region. Very happy with this monitor so far (in my.. one day of testing). I chose the IPS display over the OLED display, for better text clarity. The next

Trying to find a 4k gaming monitor (~$350)

That ASUS monitor is pretty nice, had it for a bit before upgrading to an OLED. It’s had some pretty good reviews too. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7c_SW4539Lk https://www.kitguru.net/peripherals/monitors/dominic-moass/asus-rog-strix-xg27ucs-review-budget-4k-160hz-ips/

Got a new 4K OLED for my main display - debating whether/how to upgrade second display

Thanks for replying. How do enjoy having two OLEDs? Aside from the matching aesthetics (which I also would love to have), do you think it's worthwhile or practical? Right now the PG27UCDM is $100 (Canadian) less than the XG27UCDMG at Best Buy Canada - so I'd probably just go for a second matching PG

For Mac Mini scaling: Dell S2725QS (4K, 120Hz, 4ms) or Asus XG27ACS-W (2K, 180Hz, 1ms)?

Thank you for your response. I purchased the Asus ROG Strix XG27UCS 4K and I am very satisfied with this monitor. I tried Dell, but it really had a cheap build quality.

I ordered the Dell S2725QS but didn’t like it at all and returned it. I bought the Asus XG27UCS 27" 4K. It’s very good. I definitely recommend it. Also, don’t buy a 2K monitor.

First new build, any help or tips are appreciated

Really depends on how nice of a monitor you actually need. I got a 27" 2k MSI monitor that does 180hz. Colors could be a little better, but I only noticed 'cause my other monitor has slightly nicer colors. Your listed specs are significantly better, and mine is far from the best, but I paid $150 for
