Older ASUS panels had really bad bleeding. Bleeding shouldn't really be normalized in 2026, since there're $200 monitors out there without it. There're IPS panels like the KTC H27E6. Or the new ASUS VG27AQL5A. That has pretty much 0 bleeding. For example my own KTC H27E6 blacks look like this, and i

My asus vg27aql5a with the same contrast ratio doesnt have this problem. Whites are very bright almost to the very edge of the screen. It has some red spots but very minor. Maybe it has something to do with the quantum dots making it worse. https://imgur.com/gallery/g-B67x5eP

I put this together for you. Not knowing what your budget is, forced me to guess at some parts choices, but I’ll try to mention some alternate choices you could consider. CPU: The 9800X3D is the fastest CPU for gaming. CPU COOLER: The Phantom Spirit is a phenomenal air cooler. MOTHERBOARD: The Asus

Same thought process here. Get a ASUS VG27AQL5A (~1500:1 contrast) or Gigabyte M27Q2 QD (1700:1 contrast). IPS panels with good contrast but no VA issues. Look up reviews on both.

i got the screen, its fine. i dont like the wide base and the limited movement angles as someone who likes to move the screen a lot. also mine came with some coil whine. Overall, if you don't get unlucky with the whine, i would say its a good screen. It's much cheaper now too than it was back then.

Just bought an asus tuf series 5 VG27AQL5A. Working out great so far. It's also on sale right now (in the UK at least) Ok wait I just actually fully read the post, you're spending around $300 on a monitor just for streaming??? Thats a massive waste imo, get a cheap £50 one.
