Does anyone have SaskTel's 1gb internet plan, and is it worth $160/month?

Door to door Sktel dudes were offering 1g for $65/mnth on 2 year contract to new subs. Try to get Sktel to match that. I did similar with Access and stayed with them, but anything over 100Mbps is only fun or useful to me when torrenting. I have a newer router that uses 2.5Gbps ethernet between it an

Apple mobile devices suddenly can't use my Asus RT-AX53U router?

OP I'm experiencing a different issue but only on Apple hardware. Recently upgraded from Asus RT-AC68U to ASUS RT-BE88U to support my new fibre connection. Always ran Merlin firmware on them too. With the new ASUS RT-BE88U the Apple devices seem to connect fine, but after long periods on no use they

Accesspoints for ASUS RT-BE88U

Should be. There’s a setting in the router where you can change the WAN to SFP. https://www.snbforums.com/threads/asus-rt-be88u-10gb-sfp-port.94483/ But that is not the question. I’m curious what Accesspoints I should use. u/Zestyclose-Milk8577, you are mixing things. The link that you reffer in you

Any team rtax86/88u move to be88u and not regret it?

I haven't used either, but I think the BE88U is a bit overpriced for what you get (since it is only dual band WiFi 7 - only 2.4ghz/5ghz; no 6ghz band). Here's a review: https://www.pcmag.com/reviews/asus-rt-be88u If you can get a used AX86U for a good price, why not buy one? Just re-flash the firmwa

Any team rtax86/88u move to be88u and not regret it?

It is pointless to move to BE from AX, if you are not taking advantage of the 320Mhz bandwidth on 6Ghz ( a feature Asus RT-BE88U does not offer), and MLO still cause lots of issue on network adapters older than BE. Move from Asus AX88U Pro to Ubiquiti Cloud Gateway Fiber and U7 Pro XG and i wish i s

Why does wifi planning have to be so difficult?

Soho being a all in one router like an Asus RT-BE88U? If that's what you're thinking, surprisedly it doesn't reach the far side of the home and struggles to provide a single into the bedrooms. It goes about to the office and drops
