I use a ASUS RT-BE88U as my primary router with. 2tb Aussie broadband NBN package and can confirm it's a banger. If you can find one on sale somewhere? It's well well worth.

Netgear seem quite expensive for the dame thing. How is the Asus - ASUS RT-BE88U? Seems a little more affordable. Unless you can recommend a Netgear in the same price range?

Just received my eero pro 6e device and need advice
There are plenty of 2.5Gbps throughput routers out there. Currently, I’m using an ASUS RT-BE88U because I want 10gbps LAN (for Plex / NAS access). It’s a really good router, but somewhat overkill for most people and not what you’d call cheap. Another person has already said it too - what devices do

1.5 vs 3 gig fibre?
Personally, I use an Asus RT-BE88U. That is overkill for a lot of people because it has 4 1Gbit ports, 4 2.5Gbit ports, and a 10Gbit WAN and SFP+ ports.

What's the best router for a home office that can also do PCVR?
I recommend just getting a router that your headset supports. Quest 3 supports 6ghz wifi on 6e, but you can probably get a great signal like I do (i live in a condo building, tons of networks around but still great connection on 5ghz via the Puppis S1). As mentioned before, it is not advised to use

Any team rtax86/88u move to be88u and not regret it?
I haven't used either, but I think the BE88U is a bit overpriced for what you get (since it is only dual band WiFi 7 - only 2.4ghz/5ghz; no 6ghz band).
