ASUS ROGT GT-AX6000 Router not working with pihole
Not sure if your GT-AX6000 has same firmware/settings screens, but I got the Asus RT-AX88U AX6000 and spent a ridiculous amount of time trying to get it to run with PiHole/Unbound. No matter whether LAN or WAN set for PiHole or other settings, it was just never able to play nice in my network. Wante

UniFi Express 7
I had an Asus setup with a GT-BE98 WiFi 7 router and 2 RT-AX88U as mesh nodes. Compared to this my UDR7 and Express 7 are pants in terms of WiFi coverage but are more stable as the Asus would often bomb out for no reason. I did buy another Express 7 to use as a mesh with the other and that has helpe

Are Nanoleaf a bunch of cowboys?
I don't know what Nanoleaf is, but all my light sets have simply stopped connecting, I've tried deleting them entirely deleting the app and clearing all the data. Maybe it's my Asus RT-AX88U-Pro Wifi 6 router and the lights are simply incompatible with modern WiFi standards I don't know, but... I've

I get 2000mbps down and up when I’m plugged into an Eero Pro 7, I switched the router to an ASUS RT-AX88U and now I only get 250 down and 50 up. Why is this?
Eero Pro 7 has two 2.5Gbbs ports. They claim 5Gbps, but that only works if your ISP supports link aggregation with two 2.5Gbps RJ45 connected to the ISP modem. If you are getting 2000Mbps from the Eero Pro 7, that tells me you have one RJ45 2.5Gbps connected to your ISP and they are synced up at 2.5

Fraud was awesome, 10/10
I really hate the ASUS RT-AX88U Pro AX6000 Dual Band Wifi Router enemy though, the way it disguises as a TP-Link Archer C7 AC1750 Dual Band Gigabit Wifi Router just to suddenly move in to attack is really annoying. John "Ultrakill" Hakita was not cooking with that one.

UX7 Poor Range
I recently moved to the Unifi stuff having had an Asus GT-BE98 WiFi 7 and 2 Asus RT-AX88U as mesh nodes. I've got the UDR7 and 2 UX7's. The range on the UX7's are rubbish compared to the Asus gear, I've had to put my UX7 at the top of the stairs and then run a cable through the loft to a switch in o

UniFi Express 7
That was me too, I'd sold my Asus GT-BE98 to fund the UDR7 and Express 7 and then the WiFi coverage was rubbish so I was like 'what have I done' Having got a 2nd Express 7 and plenty of tweaking things seem to be good now and much more stable than the Asus. I do need to get an outdoor one but the eq

FiOS and Asus Routers
Damn, I would hate that. My RT-AX88U Pro is updated with the latest firmware and the upload speed issue still happened after installing Fios yesterday. My only solution was doing the Dual WAN thing. I hope the same doesn’t begin to happen with mine after some time.

ASUS RT-AX86U Upgrade?
If you have Traffic Analyzer - Statistic enabled on your router, turn that crap off, it is wild how that one setting nerfed my speed on my rt-ax88u pro, You can read about it right I don't know if that was a bug or something and now it's okay But I'll never turn it on again. https://www.snbforums.co

Unmanaged Switches ASUS RT-AX88U Pro
Disable any Link Aggregation/AiMesh Ethernet backhaul features on the RT-AX88U Pro, set the LAN port to 1 Gbps auto-negotiation, and use a non-aggregated LAN port—unmanaged switches like the GS305/TL-SG108 can’t do LACP and these settings can keep the link dark.
