Anyone else rethink how they buy games after that Portal update?
Yeah I use the Asus RT-ax58u. Same router, smaller area coverage. We are just in a 1500 sq ft single story home so didn't need the larger coverage. I get 1-2ms latency and never any connection interruptions.

New router
I'm sick of switching routers every time, too. If you’re on FTTP, the good news is that you don’t need a modem-router combo, just a solid standalone router.. Check out the TP-Link Archer AX20 or AX23 - both are Wi-Fi 6, work great with NBN, and won't break the bank. The ASUS RT-AX58U is a solid upgr

New Asus BE92U Ping Spikes
(Part 1 of 2) Thanks for the info. From your post I see you have set up the RT-BE92U as the primary router and RT-AX58U as a satellite mesh node in the garage. I assume both devices are set up as a mesh network via AiMesh. The RT-AX58U is using wireless backhaul to connect to the RT-BE92U via AiMesh

XB10 modem / RT-AX86U Pro?
I've got the RT-AX58U, great fucking routers man but the XB10 is much more powerful. instead of bridging the connection to my old router I now just run it in AP mode hard wired to the xb10 extending my wifi. it works great, allow the xb10 to be the dhcp server with the asus router as a client broadc

WiFi router under 20k
Don’t purchase anything less than Wi-Fi 6, because it has beamforming and other really great technologies. So, range won’t be your problem on the 5 GHz band. Also, no matter what router you’ve got, switching to Wi-Fi 6 will definitely give you a huge improvement in stability. And don’t buy anything

It really is about your ROUTER, not your SPEEDS.
https://www.asus.com/us/networking-iot-servers/wifi-routers/asus-wifi-routers/rt-ax58u/ This is the router I have. I have a smaller house. 1400sq ft single level so I didn't need anything with a huge signal radius.

Router recommendations for Sky fibre
Be wary of people saying "any router will do", you can't just use any old modem router with Sky FTTP. It needs DHCP Option 61 unless you're bridging your Sky router as the modem and just using a third party router for the WiFi.. After doing some research I settled on an ASUS RT-AX58U. Great interfac

Internet issues on Second floor for gaming
I know what you mean, I’ve been using an ASUS AX58U for a couple of years but the signal strength was rubbish upstairs, finally purchased 3 mesh nodes, spent some time adding Ethernet cables to where the nodes are and WiFi has been the best it’s ever been even out in the garden. Even if you can’t ge
