GMK EVO-X2 AI Max+ 395 Mini-PC review!

The memory read speed is still half of what it should be (~119 GB/s vs. 256 GB/s). This is well beyond simply “effective vs. theoretical“. I had high hopes that the issue was exclusive to the implementation in the Asus ROG Flow Z13. Not good. I guess I’ll be waiting for Medusa Halo in 2027.

What's the closest hardware alternative to a MacBook Pro?

Depends on your use case, if you need dedicated GPU, couple of the following won't apply. Lenovo Yoga Pro 9i or slim 9i. Lenovo Thinkpad Carbon X1 or x9 Asus ProArt Maybe Dell XPS or whatever it's called now. It's not bad but there are better options. Asus Flow z13 but know that Asus customer servic

Best epgu for z flow 2025

USB4/Thunderbolt 4 on the Z13 caps out at 40 Gbps, but only 32 Gbps gets allocated to PCIE for eGPUs. (note that's gigabits per second, so divide by 8 and that will give you 4 GB/s of bandwidth). This is equivalent to a PCIE 3.0 4x connection, which is frankly not a lot. I think midrange (desktop) c

Just Joined the Surface Family

The other one I was interested in, the ROG Flow Z13 is similarly priced, but way heavier than I am interested in. I had looked at others like Lenovo, Asus, and Dell, but they were either also similarly priced or didn’t match the specs I was interested in, particularly the 32gb+ of ram. Plus, Microso

A powerful Linux Tablet

This really is pretty far from powerful. In a world where tablets like the Asus ROG Flow Z13 exist and can run a standard install of a desktop Linux distribution, running a Linux desktop environment on top of Android feels pretty severely lacking. Don't get me wrong, it's great that you're offering

Looking for a good bag for all my junk.

Have this bag (among many), it’s a good bag although the front side pocket is rather goofy to me and stuff doesn’t stay tucked into the ‘sideways access’ pockets at all. At 12L I don’t think it’s big enough to hold all this guys’ stuff. The back laptop compartment is -very- ‘tight’ meaning once you

G14 vs G16 which is better for college?

IMO, the G14 is better for college since it's easier to carry around and fits into more bags, but it's really a tossup since both laptops are pretty light and fit into bags easily. I'd still lean towards the G14, though, especially since its iGPU is far better than the G16's. The 890M can't really b

Why do so many people not understand the limitations of a handheld device?

The closest handheld/tablet we have to PS5 power is an ASUS ROG Flow Z13 (2025).... and it costs a whopping $2099 in the US. Even if you cut the PC functionalities so it's only a handheld gaming device, we're still looking at something over $1000 which isn't gonna fly at all.
