Some peple.....

It’s true that you can play FF7 Rebirth at 60 FPS on the Asus Ally…..However this will introduce visual artifacts and latency. The most desire setting is wait for it. 30 FPS or 40 FPS at 720p or 900p. But likewise it is playable at 50 FPS to 60 FPS with sacrifices. Source: I own an Asus Ally X

Don't Game Much on Lenovo 4080 Laptop, Sell for Legion Go?

Don't do it. You have a very good Laptop. The Legion go 2 maybe has 20% if not less the power of your 4080 I have an asus rog ally z1 extreme and a 4070 lenovo yoga pro i. The yoga beats it in every category. Maybe the legion go is a little bit more portable, but it looses in every other aspect.

Im in Love ... such a great device

I got mine very recently too but it's only the original ROG ally non-extreme edition I play from the cloud too but the reason is because Asus had nerfed it severely.

Stuck between 2 options, please help!

People are overstating the performance difference - it’s 25% better at 17W and 13% better at 25W. However, I’d still go for an XAX. I’ve seen countless stories on r/ROGAlly about people’s Allys having defects, build quality issues, getting fucked by Asus warranty service, etc. Seems like the XAX is

Is anyone else also having lag issues beyond normal?

Playing on a Asus ROG Ally I am having more than 2 thousand msec, dying like 5 times per minute, completely unplayable on WI Fi. I can play normal on PC and Ethernet though

Better Alternative for Moonlight Streaming from PC to Steam Deck

It’s the Oled I have the same problem. I just gave up. I have an Asus rog ally x with bazzite and thankfully it’s working pretty well. I still am having trouble letting go of the Oled though, I just want it to work!

To all the people who claim the Z2 Go is "almost as fast" as the Z1E! ;)

I think it helps also some Legion Go 2 Z2 base have 32gb of ram (in Europe and the USA costco version). I certainly feel games bit snapper vs my old Asus Rog Ally Z1E. Also think the assumption is based on a video from ETA PRIME stating the base z2 was 15-20% better performance vs previous Z1E based

AutoSR... A poem by salt...

Notes to self, maybe also relevant for you: DUD TOOLS: AutoSR (Automatic Super Resolution) outside/out-of-game OS-level upscaler (supposed to use special NPU AI chip in Xbox Ally X)... but the implementation ALL OUT-OF-GAME IS TERRIBLE, as it requires low OS-level internal Display mode res to be set
