Non-Apple monitor suggestions?

An Asus ProArt PA279CRV. 99% P3, good stand, good ports, no external power supply, 3 year warranty (or if you get open box whatever is left after the original purchase). $400 on Amazon right now.

Upgrading from an M1 Pro with Asahi

It's only 13.3" instead of 14 (they also have bigger models in this same line), but the ASUS ProArt with the Ryzen AI processor and the RTX 4060 mobile is pretty decent. It can be a bit noisy (not much if compared qith other x86 machines, just if you compare it with M1 and alike)... but only if you

Thinking of Mac Studio/Studio Display: Wait till Black Friday?

Right. So, again, I don’t see much of a point in spending $1,600+ list for the Studio Display when there’s other options that give you a similar 5K experience for a lot less money right now. The ASUS ProArt 5K for example, is $850. Plastic build and no Thunderbolt or webcam, but similar image qualit

For my m4 setup I use the following. I am a hybrid user using Mac for personal use and windows for work. Both systems sharing the peripherals including the monitor. Need Help for an Updated Setup

You just need a USB-C (whatever port the MBP has) to HDMI cable to connect to the external display. You can use the existing Bluetooth keyboard/mouse and new monitor with or without the hub (Dock). It's just a matter of swapping the cable, the dock would simplify this. I bought this Hub for less tha

Ребята, поздравьте меня.

Для профессиональных и параллельно игровых. Asus Pro Art PA27UCGE. Просто напичкан крутизной и встроенным калибратором. Это еще не самый дорогой что присматривал. Бюджет был 150к. За 95 можно считать что взял со скидкой, учитывая его редкость.

Please HELP me make up my mind!!

I’m personally looking at the Asus Pro Art 5K monitor. 761€, so half of the Studio Display in price and scales perfectly with MacOS to get the full experience. (At least that is what my research has come to)

Is Linux meant to be so fragile?

I hope not too. I have heard/seen the same reports on Asrocks and 9000 series, I only managed to avoid their boards by dumb luck when building my current setups. In case we get there and it helps, I have a no-frills MSI X870E that was pretty cheap, a Gigabyte X870E that was mid price and pretty nice

How can I prevent Windows 10 from moving my windows/apps when screens go standby

OMFG!!! This singlehandedly solved two issues I had with my Asus monitors! I recently installed a second Asus ProArt PA278QV using a DisplayPort cable occupied by an older Benq monitor it replaced. The first PA278QV has always been connected to HDMI and has had zero issues EXCEPT a massive bright BL

How can I prevent Windows 10 from moving my windows/apps when screens go standby

Same here!! I experienced this exact same issue and this is the first post on the internet that has the solution. We need to spread this solution around the internet. Maybe contacting support they can add this to the FAQ for our monitors (Asus ProArt PA278QV in my case).
