Why so many monitors does not have Thunderbolt 4+ port?
The Thunderbolt issue is discussed here. You could however connect two monitors with one using USB-C and the other using DP to USB-C (see here). The 5K ASUS ProArt PA27JCV has a LuxPixel matte coating which looks very similar to Apple’s nano-texture. I felt the LuxPixel affected the whites too much

What 27” 5K to wait for?
As I mentioned, I didn’t like the quite aggressive anti-reflective LuxPixel (LP) coating on the PA27JCV. I decided to check the nano-texture coating on the Studio Display next to the glossy one. I felt the nano-texture was visually very similar to the PA27 and the glossy was so sharp and colourful.

Asus ROG Strix XG27JCG (dual-mode 180/330Hz 5K 5120×2880 monitor) — review by Tom’s Hardware
I first had the ASUS ProArt PA27JCV. I really liked the design (stylish industrial looking) and the color profiles with the software, but it didn’t look that sharp to what I was used to with my earlier 27” 5K JAPANNEXT panel, which I used for 9 months but then malfunctioned. The matte on the PA27 us

Kuycon G32P 6K 32-inch IPS Black Monitor
I also ordered one today through Alibaba. Was waiting on the Asus 6K but had a disappointing experience with the Asus 5K (PA27JCV, fuzzy matte coating). This will be my first glass coating monitor and I'm very curious whether it makes a difference. Got conformation through the chat with Kuycon that

Asus ROG Strix XG27JCG (dual-mode 180/330Hz 5K 5120×2880 monitor) — review by PCWorld
I had the PA27JCV before the XG27JCG. I actually returned the first JCV because it had a stuck dust particle (not a dead pixel). The second JCV was flawless, but in the end, I couldn’t stand the LuxPixel coating. So I returned that one as well and within weeks ASUS released the JCG. I ordered it rig

The ASUS ProArt 5K Monitor (PA27JCV) Has A Terrible Matte Coating
Did you find that dark mode helps? My decade old pro-oriented ASUS -- which I am still using -- also had a bit dramatic matted display than earlier monitors. But I have been able to adjust to that. The PA27JCV was just too aggressive. I feel like a lot of folks hate on matted, but I hope the experie

Do all 5K monitors have this grainy matte coating?
My reaction might be too late, but I also bought the PA27JCV and would like to give some input: fantastic colors, amazing blacks, no bleed or glow, superbly color-accurate Karman test results, but the coating was very pronounced. Before the 27JCV, I had the 5K JAPANNEXT (JN) panel, which was also ma

Well, since the awaited new Studio Display still sucks and is expensive af, what alternatives do you recommend?
You could consider the ASUS PA27JCV. 5k monitor that's about half the price. I wouldn't say it's better though, unless you like its matte coating.

Asus ROG Strix XG27JCG (dual-mode 180/330Hz 5K 5120×2880 monitor) — review by Tom’s Hardware
Both ASUS’s LuxPixel as well as Apple’s nano-texture diminish the sharpness on the PA27JCV and Studio Display respectively, at least to my eyes. The nano-texture on the iPad Pro was pretty good, though.

I have two BENQ PD2730S. AMA
Hi,do you see some "greasiness" (aka rainbow effect) on white backgrounds due to the matte coating? I've this effect on my Asus PA27JCV and from your pictures in the thread it seems that also your panel suffers it.
