Mini PC recommendation for development and local AI inference
Chat GPT is out of its mind, seriously switch to Deepseek which is way more accurate on Tech and coding. Chat GPT recommended Mini PC listing for A.I is so random, how could you list a Geekom A6 (6800H) and an Atomman G7 PT in the same listing. For LLM NPU are irrelevant even with the best A.I NPU o

Is there a model you would recommend for playing PC games?
Intel ARC is much more primitive than 780M, I doubt that is so close to it. I had an Asus NUC 14 Pro+ 125H and the performance of it was horrendous on old games that run like a champ on 780M. I didn't test the 140T, but I won't get Intel anytime soon. I'm hoarding for the AI MAX+ 395 FrameWork mobo

Asus NUC 13 Pro Slim Barebone an ok choice?
Yeah, especially there's NUC 14 Pro with 100U with very similar specs at minus 200USD lower price than this. The 100U has less CPU & GPU performance than this 13620H on paper, performance ought to be closer due to the chassis. The main different on spec should be the DDR5 RAM on NUC 14 Pro but you g

Is a good idea to buy a egpu at this point??
Yesterday I ordered the GMKtec AD-GP1 eGPU. I have an ASUS NUC 14 Pro+ which has two x 40 Gbps USB4 ports at the back. The PC is fairly new so I'm not replacing that, but the internal graphics are only Intel Arc, not real good for video intensive tasks. The PC also has a spare M.2 2232 slot, so I'm

How to add & enable Windows Recall to a compatible device?
I purchased the ASUS NUC 14 PRO AI, which features the Intel Core Ultra 200V (Lunar Lake), but Windows Recall is not available on this device.According to ASUS support, this mini PC does not support Windows Recall. At this point, do not buy a desktop PC labeled as a Copilot+ PC just to use Windows R

Mini-PC with 4k120hz HDMI output on Linux
In my experience, most mini PCs advertising HDMI 2.1 don't implement the optional features necessary for 4k120hz output. This is not limited to sketchy Chinese brands: for example, the Intel NUC 13 basically rebranded their existing HDMI 2.0 implementation as HDMI 2.1 without adding any additional f

ASUS NUC 15 Pro+: Yup, it's noisy.
Hi. Since those nerve wrecking fans with that terrible whistlling sound is not bearable since generations, I always transferred my NUC girls in a passively cooled chassis by Akasa. This great solution fits for me. I am very disappointed, that Intel/ASUS is not able, integrating some vapor chamber, g
