SiFi Networks - Not Allowing Bridge Mode???
I dunno. I contacted T-Life via the app, asked the AI for a static IP got routed to a person. 4 hours later I had my static IP. Yesterday I followed up with a bridge mode request, this time it took less than an hour later I was in bridge mode. I have the exact Nokia XS-2426X-A piece of shit. It work

Dual WAN Life Changer / TP-Link Omada ER605
I agree. 100% worth it. I’m a new “dual WAN” (brand new T-Fiber 2k/2k; old Xfinity 2k/300 on a 10G backbone). I purchased the ASUS GT-BE98 Pro just for dual-WAN failover (and the other benefits like custom building my iptables). I tested failover and it was beautiful. No clients blinked. PPPoE. Wow.

New Fiber in neighborhood; install soon
Had the NID and ONT installed yesterday. The gateway is interesting. It's a hard-wired fiber to the wall. XGS-PON type. Model: Nokia ONT XS-2426X-A. WiFi6 (not 6E/7). It has a 10G LAN port (whew) and 3x1G ethernet ports. Even at WiFi6, my iPhone 16, wireless came in strong: ~1995 Mbps down ~1995 Mbp

AT&T vs Ripple
Thanks for that info! That’s great know the $104 is going to pretty much my actual total. I was just reading about having to put the AT&T modem in passthrough mode to use my own router. No problem there. My router is the asus gt-be98 pro so I definitely will want to use that instead of AT&T’s. I saw

Can anyone recommend any routers from Asus? Thoughts on GT-BE98 PRO?
I have an Asus RT-BE96U that's doing really well these days. Stable and a great wifi-7 performer. Similar hardware to the GT-BE98 Pro, but only one 6GHz. band. Personally, that's all I need, one 6GHz. band :-). You don't get to pay as much for it as you do for the GT-BE98 Pro, but it will fulfill yo

Nighthawk wireless router is dying.
I see you said you just bought an ASUS router. What did you get?I also “was” going from Xfinity (2k/300) to T-Fiber (2k/2k) instead, I’m keeping both in a dual WAN (failover), with fiber being the primary internet.I bought an ASUS GT-BE98 Pro with BE5000 APs. Overkill for sure, but the rest of my ne

Remember, unless it's on a good sale, Buy Cheap Get Cheap. The router is a very important piece of the puzzle so to speak. It handles everything wifi plus my asus Rapture ROG GT BE98 PRO wifi 7 Quad band router can handle security issues as well.It has many different settings to adjust to suit your

Better router with hunter fiber?
Don't forget about Asus routers. I have always used those with no issues. Currently using a Asus Rapture ROG GT BE98 PRO Quad Band wifi 7 router. In a Ranch style home with great coverage. It's pricey at $700 if not on sale. I got mine around 7 months so ago from Amazon for $630. Could be lower now,

Router that will easily support 3+ 4k streams plus game streaming?
Did you try the Asus GT-BE98 Pro or the Asus GT-BE19000AI routers? I have the Asus GT-BE98 Pro and can personally attest to it having far reach for its 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz networks.
