Ascaso Steel Duo will be just at 13" deep with cord coming out the back but porta filter will over hang significantly. Also the thermal block steam would not be as dry as a DB. The drip tray on the steel duo non plus gets messy. The grill from the baby t they put on the plus is much better. The steam lever looks cooler and is easier to use. I would argue against Ascaso. I have Dream Pid and Duo Steel Pid and both machines are very flimsy. Duo has very quirky steam and Dream is very weak if the puck in't prepped good enough.
