I have this monitor with my Mac mini. I use it for rehearsals and live shows. It's great. ARZOPA 16-Inch 2.5K Portable Monitor, 2560 x 1600, 10-Bit HDR, QHD, USB-C and HDMI, 16:10 IPS Eye Care, External Second Screen for Mac, PC, PS4/5, Xbox, and Switch (Z1RC)

Connect portable monitor to desktop computer using only usb c
The Z1C is 144Hz, not higher refresh rates. I've read too many reviews. People confuse it with the Z1RC (refresh 60Hz, resolution 2.5k). ____ Be specific about " it doesn't work". Better advice from others if you aren't using Apple devices. Be sure to say which computer, if monitor is connected dire

Which monitor display you guys are using with Mac Mini M4?
Two 60Hz portable Arzopa Z1RC (not the Z1FC 144Hz) with displayport which Arzopa engineered to support a wide variety of computing devices. That and the price is why I upgraded from their other displays. PRICE ranges per display $104 -$129 between 2024 and 2025 September 4, even though original was

Do design awards actually influence your tech purchases?
I'm not interested in the award, but having a built-in stand is huge for me. I thought the convertible cover on my current Arzopa monitor was fine until I used a Surface Pro. I'll upgrade just for a good built-in, adjustable stand.

Best portable monitor for travel, work, and studying?
I've been using the Arzopa Z1RC and it's good but I think i'll upgrade to something bigger maybe. I'm starting to feel like having a 17" or 18" even might be nice and make the setup feel alot more usable and closer to a home setup. I also picked up a portable monitor stand which makes all the differ

Recommendation for Projector and Screen
I think the hard part about projectors on a boat is that you have 2 objects that are moving that need to stay in sync. If you can mount the projector somewhere securely on the ceiling, that would help a lot; otherwise, maybe look into an ultra short throw projector? Your other issue is power, even t

How to actually choose a laptop 101
If you want a mac and don't truly need portability get a arzopa monitor (portable) and a mac mini. In either case get the lowest GB version(storage) and simply buy a external ssd
