Incredibly frustrated with the new studio display XDR
I’ve engaged Apple about it but lots of posts about this with 2 Studio Display XDRs. They should be able to both run at 60 at a minimum and having 2 only lights up on an m4 pro. I have 2 machines and swap between an m4 pro for work and an m4 max for personal use and the max is perfect on all cases.

Looking for a monitor good for gaming pc but also for a Mac if possible
27 inch 5K or 32 inch 6k is basically necessary if you want good scaling on macOS. At least if you want to use it at 1440 and not 1080 which I feel is just too big. The best option is one of the upcoming 5K 165 Hz dual mode panels. They are basically like the studio display XDR using 2304 local dimm

Studio Display (2026) vs. Studio Display XDR vs. Alternatives
Well, the LG is basically targeting the studio display XDR panel exactly and that same panel is being used by another company called MSI. MSI wasn’t sure that they were going to release their version of this monitor but at CES this year they said that it would cost $900. Based on that I think it’s a
