Here's a logical reason - it's not impressive for a new MacBook Pro to be able to run Final Cut Pro well. If you are going to buy a laptop, get a MacBook for sure. I use a Windows desktop and a Macbook laptop (M1 pro), for Ableton both work fine, but there are just no Windows laptops that compare to the hardware and build quality of a Macbook.
