MacBook Pro 16-inch M1 Pro

My work issued Lenovo is worse in every way compared to my M1 Pro 14 inch MacBook and cost just as much. I work in IT and could easily do my job on the Neo, I wish I could convince the higher ups to let us use MacBooks.... Would save us a ton of money in the long run.

If you are going to buy a laptop, get a MacBook for sure. I use a Windows desktop and a Macbook laptop (M1 pro), for Ableton both work fine, but there are just no Windows laptops that compare to the hardware and build quality of a Macbook.

I've got a M1 pro MacBook and pretty happy but I am thinking to upgrade to M5 pro. Then I entered apple store and realized they are selling the MacBook pros with M5 chip (aside from M5 pro), which I think is pretty curious. Besides, a similar setup than I bought in 2021 now costs 1000€ more.

I got a refurb “excellent” M1 Pro 14in MacBook Pro on Amazon this week for $720 and I would definitely recommend that over either Neo model. I get that it’s new vs refurb but the pro is just a much better laptop at pretty much everything.
