I actually disagree with a lot of this. (Although I understand your points) I agree the influencer community seems to be a big factor in apples updates at the moment. But from an iPad usability point of view I’ve owned a functional usable iPad ever since the iPad 2 upgrading every circa 2-3 years an

And the mobile chip has better performance but fewer cores than the M1. I am still rocking, M1 and M2 airs both for work but I really want a couple of these because battery is going to be great, I recently purchased an M3 iPad Air and it’s battery management is trash compared to my 10th gen iPad.

I've been fooled by this, and it won't happen again. It's an iPad unless you use Final Cut Pro on iPad to quickly process video in the airplane or during your trip, even an M1 iPad Pro is more than enough to fulfill 99% of your needs. If you want an iPad get the latest with an M chip (if you can aff

I think it should last another 5 years with no issues. Unfortunately, the battery won't. M1 had terrible battery efficiency, so if you buy a used one, you'll probably need a new battery pretty soon. If you manage to find an unused one, it'll probably last but battery life does suck on it. My A14 iPa

The M1 iPad is obviously more powerful than the a16 iPad. However if you’re buying 2nd hand, the battery health might not be in the best condition. And you’ll have to make sure you buy the 256gb iPad, because 64gb won’t be enough. If you find one in good condition for a good price, go for it. The a1

Maybe that was an iPad Air issue… My M1 Pro has had great battery throughout its entire, heavily used, life.

I’d go for the iPad Air 13” M3 256GB WiFi + Cellular ($750). It’s the newest/most future-proof with M3 chip, great for school apps, note-taking (full Apple Pencil Pro support), and multitasking with your 70GB+ stuff. Bigger screen than your current Air 5, 256GB solves storage, cellular adds flexibil

Most students go with iPad Air (M1 or M2) with Apple Pencil. Fits your budget, great for notes, solid battery. Refurbished Pro is also an option if you want 120Hz

if you're putting in charger and it registers but not charging then you're using a faulty charger cable/charging brick or your trying to charge from a computer, or cable extension charging cables don't last very long if they don't have reinforcing hard plastic around usb enclosure and wire .( in my

If you have WiFi 7 and want maximum speed, M4 12GB ram 11” or 13” is perfect, you could easily get 10 years from this device, divide price by 10 and see what you would pay for each year , fantastic device and will keep a really good value also . I use m1 iPad Air for everyday use and it’s a beast of
