9th gen iPad still viable in 2026?

“I wouldn't see a problem running iPadOS 26 on iPad 9th generation, it has A13 Bionic chip which works great. And you are comparing iPhone with iPad” “First of all, iPhone and iPad are different devices (but still in some ways they are similar), and the experience will be more than decent on it.” If

iPad 12th gen..

Apple released the iPad A16 nearly 2.5 years later after the iPad 10th gen. I think as they have launched so many new products and focusing the budget macbook particularly this time they won't launch the base ipad with the updated a18/a19 chip so soon as it could have cannibalised their sales for th

iPadOS 26 has ruined my iPad experience

Same, my iPad 9th gens became a stuttering mess scrolling any social media feed on iOS26 and there are so many glitches with the keyboard and Safari; apps reloading all the time multitasking - I won't get another Apple device I've had enough.

9th gen iPad still viable in 2026?

i was in the exact same spot last year - 8th gen 32gb was dying on storage and i really didn't want to lose the headphone jack. pulled the trigger on a 256gb 9th gen and honestly it's been solid. iPadOS 26 runs fine for GarageBand and general use; it's not a speed demon but it's perfectly usable. th

Hello, MacBook Neo

This is a tempting replacement for my aging iPad 9th gen. I never really used the Apple pencil much and I would rather have Mac OS than the sloppy hybrid iPad OS.

Which mobile should I buy if I have a budget of only under 70k pkr (251$ USD)?

If you already have a phone or have the freedom to try another device, i suggest getting an older model iPad within ur price range, ive always played genshin on those and its amazing. An ipad is overall a great device for a lot, watching videos, draw, work etc. its a good portable work device, plus

Where is the keyboard?

Just tried (also have the air M3 with iOS 26) When I try and enter touch ID setup ... No on screen keyboard. (But no problem for normal login) Took a picture ... But can't attach to the post. So good thing is that your not alone (so hopefully apple will find out) ... Bad thing is it's not working. P

I give you: the apple experience

I bought 9th gen ipad an 1st gen pencil 2 and a half years ago and I havent bought any other apple product since. iPad works fine for school stuff for me but otherwise I hate the apple enviroment. However it got better over the years I must admit.

Anybody using ipados26 in 9th gen ipad. How's it holding up??

I’ve been quite happy with iPadOS 26 on my iPad (9th generation). The new windowing system performs well, but I’ve only used about three windows at any one time. Loading sites in Safari can often be a little sluggish due to the limited memory, and battery life is on par with iPadOS 18, if not margin
