IKEA matter devices

I feel like the issues are mostly from non Apple Users. The devices work rock solid for me with HomePod mini.

My Apple Watch said, “Good Morning, Amy.” My name isn’t Amy.

The fundamental problem is, there are quite a few things she can answer, if you phrase them correctly, but they refuse to publish a comprehensive list of the things she understands, instead saying "just talk to her". It reminds me of a rom com movie where someone gets hired to be someone's personal

My HomePod somehow became the smartest thing in my apartment

I hate my HomePod mini’s. Every software update I encounter immense problems with them and have to reset / restart them. One I lost to the “ghost touch” problem and can’t revive it. Up until recently I had two minis - one on either side of my bed and an ultra short through projector at the foot of m

Crazy issue with Homepod Mini Stereo Pair playing songs randomly AND at RANDOM VOLUMES (Loud Volume Spikes Suddenly/Out of Nowhere!!)

All HomePods not only mini have this strange behavior since last iOS HomePod update. You are not alone here, everybody is suffering!! Apple changed something and going through a total reset and network adjustment will if it does at first not help out for long. So Apple is coming out in a few days wi

If your HomePod mini has ghost touch, comment with your details

I’ve owned 10 HomePods since the introduction of the first generation years ago. I absolutely loved all of them until a little over a year ago, when one of my mini died due to the ghost touch issue. Since then, 2 more minis and a full size 2nd gen have also died this way. Latest was just a few weeks

Is a Gen 1 HomePod worth it in 2026 over 2 stereo HomePod minis?

I have a gen one HomePod and it still works fantastic. In fact, it’s more responsive than my mini.

What’s everyone doing for Bluetooth?

My suggestion is to be comfortable with it not working great 100% of the time You’ll notice even on the new models with built-in CarPlay people complain all the time. I can’t even get my iPhone to consistently connect and play music on my HomePod mini at home. The state of music wirelessly without i

Cool Feature I Never Knew About

This has never worked for me despite specifically toggling this feature on on each of my HomePod minis.

Salt fiber down nationally (Switzerland) — Friday evening, of course 😅

First I was a big fan of wireless speakers like Sonos or Apple HomePods... but their random problems that only happen once or twice a year, are enough for me to through that stuff all out. Now I use nice Teufel Speakers with an optical line-in from that android-SaltTV-Box. If you are interessted as

New house - looking for your best homekit devices

Honestly, these days it doesn’t matter, if your wifi is reliable. I have a setup that would horrify most on this sub. Probably 100 or so devices running off a HomePod mini and a pre-4K Apple TV. Granted I have other hubs for lights and home assistant for non-native devices. Everything runs just fine
