Do 2 x 24 in unless you have a card that can do 1440p, because a 27 inch monitor should probably be at least 1440p for good pixel density. Some suggestions (I'd do IPS since this is primarily a work monitor) Dell P2422H AOC 24G2 (nice budget gaming monitor, 144 Hz, closer to your limit) Asus TUF VG2

finding a monitor that does both gaming and photo editing well on a $350 aud budget is tricky but doable. honestly at that size and budget, 1080p might be more realistic than 1440p in australia. i'd probably look at the ASUS VP249QGR which hits 144hz with good colors, or the AOC 24G2 if you can find

I am sorry but how can 2000:1 contrast be exceptional blacks??? Sure it is ok vs 800:1 that previous NanoIPS had but blacks are still BAAAD. I have OLED but also I have AOC 24G2 Panda panel with 1500:1 and Samsung VA TV with 6000:1 and blacks are shit on both. And HDR performance can not be any good

Non of them. It displays this issue on different pc’s and with different cables as well. Monitors are not damaged themselves edit: they aren't damaged by me. it is infact a manufacture/ factory mistake that affect the AOC 24G2 / 24G1 gen See this thread

I was thinking something like 60-70% of the MRSP of the new monitors it would compete with which would be $120, so about $70-$80. Seems like this seems to be around eBay's price for it. https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_nkw=aoc+24g2&_trksid=p4432023.m4084.l1311&_sacat=0

I got my monitor in 2020 and I think it was considered good then. It’s the aoc 24g2 https://www.rtings.com/monitor/reviews/aoc/24g2 144hz which I assume I haven’t been able to even use because my fps doesn’t even hit 144

I've got a 24g2, with the better OG panel. I did want to upgrade for the past 3 years now but realistically, why? Its plenty fast enough, no backlight bleed, 1080p is a bordering on low in 2025 but at 24" and 1.2 meters away it's fine. I don't want to upgrade my GPU either as there are no good budge
