$50 of it is the motors and mechanical bits. The other $250 is the software that makes it work seamlessly with the printer. There’s a reason other companies implementations are not nearly as good. I’ve tried the anycubic kobra and crealities version and it’s nowhere near as good quality.

So this is my first Bambu Labs printer. The printer I was using previously was the Anycubic Kobra S1 combo and when it comes to color swapping I was always running into layer swifts but with H2C no issue outta the box at all.

My regret is not going with Bambu to begin with. I now own 3 Bambu Lab printers. 200, 600, and 1100 hours respectively, the only tinkering I’ve had to do is basic maintenance to keep everything lubed. Kobra S1 has about 300 hours on it, with probably 299.95 hours being problem solving test prints 🤣

Same, I love my U1. I have the Anycubic Kobra S1 Combo as well and that machine will try your patience, but the U1 has been golden.

Keep in mind you’re essentially a beta tester with the Kobra X, its initial presentation might look promising but it’s not proven long term. My personal experience with Anycubic has not been reliable or trustworthy. After a Kobra 2 and a Kobra S1, I wouldn’t trust anything they make anymore. They’re
