$50 of it is the motors and mechanical bits. The other $250 is the software that makes it work seamlessly with the printer. There’s a reason other companies implementations are not nearly as good. I’ve tried the anycubic kobra and crealities version and it’s nowhere near as good quality.

My regret is not going with Bambu to begin with. I now own 3 Bambu Lab printers. 200, 600, and 1100 hours respectively, the only tinkering I’ve had to do is basic maintenance to keep everything lubed. Kobra S1 has about 300 hours on it, with probably 299.95 hours being problem solving test prints 🤣

I would classify the u1 as mid-tier. It is sensibly priced, not expensive.Top of the line printers cost 3k by the time you get all the bits and pieces. I have 5 top of the line, and 2 u1's. I'm rocking a Kobra Neo 2. P1S will be an huge game changer and i'm so ready for it. No more Anycubic for me for sure ahah I need the next level. I want to press print and produce a good piece. Not printing 5 pieces where none comes 100% ok. Thanks for your feedback

This is a real world example of a functional model I am currently working on. It must be printed in ABS or ASA to handle high temps. How'd you print that without a perfect first layer?! I paid for the whole bed so I should be able to use the entirety of it. I like printing 40 mini figurines at a tim
