PSA: Retroid has a case that fits all these handhelds with the grip case. It's the Dual Screen case.

You can also just get the anbernic rg556/557 case off amazon for like $10. Fits exactly the same .

First Retro Handheld Suggestions $100 to $200

Whatever you are going to do, be reasonably quick as ram prices will keep these things going up. Retroid 6 is peak. Thor (base on) is peak. Anbernic have nice lower priced pieces BUT ask yourself if you like this hobby and will spend more going forwards... knock up to 250 and get something really ni

Best budget retro handheld with Wi-Fi for RetroAchievements?

I have an Anbernic RG556 and a MM+. I honestly prefer my MM+. The Anbernic CAN play Android and PS2 games, but not necessarily well. It wasn't worth the extra cash, IMO. The Miyoo may run fewer games; but as far as I've seen, it runs them flawlessly. It fits in my pocket when I have to ride on buses

90s nostalgia handheld console options

My partner swears by Anbernic. I got him an RG556 for Christmas and he's played on it almost every day since. It's got an Oled screen, runs on android, and can emulate everything up to 6th Gen. (Came preloaded with the emulators and a few hundred games.) I paid €155 for it.

I’m switching to retro gaming

Get yourself a recent Anbernic device, a beefy mini SD card, and a USB C to HDMi cable. You'll be set for the rest of your life if you look after it. I have the RG556 (for about €151) and it runs just about anything from the second generation up to the 6th generation. Supports literal tens of thousa

what kind of games do you guys like?

I bought gtaV 6 months ago and barley have 10 hours in it. I don't have the time for long involving games like that anymore. I bought a hand held retro device (anbernic rg556) and that thing I do like. Mainly playing God of War and ridge racer (psp), soul caliber (dreamcast), and tons of nostalgic S

Alternative à la Nostalgear?

Salut !
