Thankfully you can turn off the spotlight on the settings but I have not found the option to do so for the color LED. Amcrest is ok. Step up is EmpireTech/Dahua, they use bigger sensors and have much better night vision in color with much less ghosting. I wish I had skipped the Amcrest 4k and gone straight to the EmpireTech 2k. The bigger sensor is better than the megapixels in my opinion.
