Kindle Scribe

It’s wild an IPad is a better deal than a kindle scribe.

The weird thing is I don't think the Kindle is a loss-leader for Amazon anymore. I really wanted a Kindle Scribe Colorsoft, but $700 is a tough pill to swallow when iPad Air costs far less. But I still can't buy into the iPad as a notebook replacement with the current tactile feel and glossy display

I'm so obsessed with the Kindle Scribe in Fig, but unfortunately all I can afford this year is the Basic in Matcha. Which is adorable in itself, but the Fig color in the other one does things to my brain. Unfortunately a 630 dollar device is not in the books for me 😭

overwhelmingly, yes. the Kindle Scribe is really only useful for a particular kind of person who is still primarily concerned only with reading in the Amazon ecosystem. it is also wildly overpriced for what it does. for grad students I would recommend either the Supernote Manta, Note Air5 C, Go 10.3

Farbdisplay ist ein wenig ein Knackpunkt. Ich habe einen kindle colorsoft. Das geht zwar schon, aber es ist halt sehr matt und nicht so viele Farben zur Auswahl. I’d agree cost-wise but 300 € (which is the price on the PocketBook website with free shipping in almost all of the EU, and it’s even a little less on Amazon.de) is not that bad here, comparatively (e.g. when the Kobo Sage was still available, I don’t think I saw it anywhere in our online shops belo
