Could Apple's OLED iPad Mini Finally Be a Kindle Killer?
The weird thing is I don't think the Kindle is a loss-leader for Amazon anymore. I really wanted a Kindle Scribe Colorsoft, but $700 is a tough pill to swallow when iPad Air costs far less. Me, watching all the beautiful e-readers here and wanting to buy more, when I already have one
I'm so obsessed with the Kindle Scribe in Fig, but unfortunately all I can afford this year is the Basic in Matcha. Which is adorable in itself, but the Fig color in the other one does things to my brain. Unfortunately a 630 dollar device is not in the books for me 😭

Thinking of getting a Kindle
Kindle has: • Basic • Paperwhite • Colorsoft • Oasis • Scribe Me, I have the Basic (matcha). Cheaper, the size is great! Fits most of my bags. Hindi nga lang waterproof and walang warm light. There are Kindles na walang ads. Mas mahal lang ng konti sa mga with ads. Pwede mo naman ipatanggal uung ads

I think that's the main takeaway. There is no perfect device. There'll be compromises on whichever device you choose. If all the software bugs hadn't started appearing on the scribe colorsoft I would've kept it. Kindles software and hardware are very well built imo. Thanks to kcc it's easy enough to

I don’t think the Pure is supposed to be an RM2 upgrade
