Why are ereader not getting better?
Thinner chassis doesn't make as much sense in e-readers as customers need to be able to hold the device. That's actually why Kindle Scribe, Kindle Oasis, Kobo Libra etc all have one protruding side where they also tuck in the battery. Though the upcoming Scribes have smaller bezels, it's just not as

The best e-reader I’ve ever owned
I own a Kindle Scribe and a Xteink X4. I’m not carrying that Scribe out of the house everyday, but the X4 goes right in my pocket. I don’t have to think about it and when I have some free time, I open it up and read.

Portable device with Notetaking abilities. No bigger than 8 inches.
Issue with the scribe is it's friggin huge and heavy. My go 7 2 is great and I have to enjoyed it quite a bit over my other devices. the 'grain' doesn't annoy me but I've also not used a color soft. Also at this point fuck Amazon and their ecosystem. Last year they stopped me being able to download

should I trade in my boox go 7 (gen 2 BW) for the new go 10.3 gen 2?
Yeah the 10.3 size is huge my Kindle scribe was heavy and I never used it. I sold it and got a go 7 after using a mobiscribe wave enough to mow the size and form factor was what I wanted.

Anyone here switch from Kindle to PocketBook recently?
I use an InkPad One, which came out about a month ago. It is not as polished as my Scribe, but it’s much lighter. I left Kindle because Amazon has decided to be hostile to side-loaders and to maroon old devices. It’s a worse device in most ways—the software is atrocious—and I’m never going back to A

Any benefit to adding a Kindle Scribe to my Supernote workflow?
Like you, I have both Supernote and Kindle products, including a Scribe. I've used it, and mostly abandoned it. It's heavy, and beyond having native Kindle software on it, the note taking software is mostly awful. I keep hoping they'll improve it, but it doesn't hold a candle to the Supernote softwa

Note taking Tablet recommendation/advice request
If reading is not your primary concern, then don't bother with the Kindle Scribe. It's heavy, and the note taking software is not the greatest. I highly recommend the Supernote tablets. Probably the best note taking software out there. Writing feel is on par with the Remarkable. Sync them with your

switch to remarkable pro from ipad pro?
Yep. I went from iPad Pro to Kindle Scribe to the Remarkable 2. I found the iPad too heavy and the Scribe didn’t fit my workflow. Switching to the Remarkable 2 was the best thing I did. I don’t miss the colour of the iPad and I especially don’t miss the distractions and weight.
