Kindle Scribe

It’s wild an IPad is a better deal than a kindle scribe.

The weird thing is I don't think the Kindle is a loss-leader for Amazon anymore. I really wanted a Kindle Scribe Colorsoft, but $700 is a tough pill to swallow when iPad Air costs far less. I fear that it will be still too much of a kindle with just some note taking attached. I tried the last two iterations of the Scribe and found the software so lacking, that I couldn’t keep them. Even though from the hardware point of view they were great.

Like she needs several $17 rolls of wrapping paper? And weekly date nights? And 5k a day…because she can’t NOT have some sort of disordered goal

im gonna second this, i have regrets now after buying the scribe and not exploring other options more before hand. Amazon is as anti consumer as they get now.

I cannot get over that she needed to go and buy a kindle scribe to help her study for this “new adventure” and she only had to study for like 3 days for his fake certification. What is the point of buying a $400 kindle for this?!

Thinner chassis doesn't make as much sense in e-readers as customers need to be able to hold the device.
