Bring back 350 pages romance books

Call it the KindleUnlimited factor. Amazon pays self-published authors by number of pages read, ergo more pages. It’s a dumb system. Now a lot of these previously self-published authors are getting acquired by traditional publishing houses but they’ve already gotten used to writing these bloated man

writer, shaun warner, is approached at an empty book signing by a tiktok creator and to his surprise, his mystery novel skyrockets to become a no.1 best seller

Now described as top of the Amazon best seller list. Hell I just went and added this book to my kindle library. I read like a lot a lot. I've read every single day for the last 274 weeks. I don't have money to purchase all the books I wanna read. But it's all included in my amazon subscription. I re

My Kindle is an ad filled wasteland and I regret buying it.

This is a superb summary. Amazon is engineered to leave you unsatisfied and forever fitfully searching. Edit: I don’t know what I’m talking about when it comes to Kindles. Don’t trust me. Amazon is still anticonsumption enemy #1 though.

E-borrowing exceeds print at Vancouver libraries — can it keep up with the cost?

I use Kindle (Amazon) ebooks and it’s frustrating when a lot of times the ebook is more than the paperback. I think overall the way ebooks work needs to be changed so they aren’t so expensive. Libraries will stop offering so many ebooks if they become cost prohibitive. Same with individuals buying b

Are you team Kindle or Kobo?

Kobo, and I only own a Kindle. 😅 Mine is 10+ years old, and I won't replace it until it breaks. Amazon is just not a good company. I want to support them as little as possible. They are doing some really bad stuff with how you are locked into their store on their devices, you don't really own the co

Amazon driver left this big tote with my packages in it and drove off

You have been blessed by the Amazon tote fairy. That's yours to keep now. I use mine to store kindling. This lets me make a stupid Amazon Kindle joke whenever I start a fire. Amazon boxes are good kindling.

Reading a good book as I eat dinner with le wife... EPIC

This is a motherfucking Kindle advertisement!! lmfao Both the OP and the wife have year+ old profiles that have 2 posts and around 20 comments each, and its all within the last month, all on the Kindle subreddit. Amazon has gone too far, ads disguised as circlejerk material smdh

New Kindle Feature Uses AI to Answer Questions About Books—And Authors Can't Opt Out

Calibre is free. If you want a physical e-ink reader, I use a Kobo. I chose it specifically because it's easy to sideload books onto it. If the big issue is that you want to maintain your Amazon library and have integration with Amazon, then get a kindle. If you already know how to get books, like t

To the ones that have cheated while in a relationship, how are you currently feeling, was it worth it?

I don't even need to do that... my ex wife has our daughter on her amazon account... my daughter's kindle decided to show some new purchases a few years ago, among them: "How to win back your ex." LMFAO! There is ZERO chance of that book doing anything positive for her (though it did give me a heart
