Tablet just for travel
Amazon kids tablet! If it’s only for travel, you can just turn off the WiFi and YouTube isn’t an option. There’s also a lot of content if you get the kids+ (it’s usually included for the first year I think) and you can limit the content for their age. We have Amazon kids tablets for exactly this rea

Drama Watch 12/23/2024: A Week In The Kansas City Metro, KS On A $59,000 Joint Income
It’s probably a fire kids tablet. We are getting a one for my toddler for a long plane ride that we have coming up but I am thinking these girls are on them all day.

Lap infant for short flight
We did an overnight which helped a lotttt, even with multiple delays. Flight left at 11 pm. We had him in PJs prior and changed his diaper the moment we got on. Then he just ate his dinner, played with the safety cards, watched 1 miss rachel (got a Fire kids tablet which did help a lot with the Netf

Tablet in the car worth it?
We broke down and bought a tablet after doing two trips from Houston to Colorado and back without one. Used it for a drive up to the Chicago area and back, and it was a game changer. I just wish he'd get used to headphones. We have a Fire Kids tablet. We preloaded it with his favored Pooh movies, ep

First birthday gift must have gift recommendations ? [ca]
We've put his birthday cash towards Science Tots and the Edmonton Telus world of Science. He's also in dance class this spring. So if you get money these are good options. He's 2.5 and loves both classes. He loves books and his 3rd birthday list is like half books at this time. If you don't have a w

For the parents who don’t mind screens
My almost 3 year old has an Amazon Kids tablet. We only use it for traveling, and it’s great. Also, it was way cheaper than the options you’re considering unless you already have an old iPad you can use.

Fire 7 (2019) vs Fire HD8 (2018) kids editions
I have a fire 7 kids 2015 and it's unusably slow. Apps/games take ages to load in Free time. I've decided it's time to upgrade. The 7" size is preferred as the 8 is a big heavy for my 4 yr old (2oz heavier than my iPad mini 5 which is already a bit too large). However the 8 has notably more RAM

[CHAT] What size tablet?
I have a 10” Amazon fire (kids) tablet that came with a neat case with a kickstand on the back to prop it up. I just keep my tablet on the side table beside my chair. A tablet for using pattern keeper was one of the best purchases I’ve made for my cross stitching and I never, ever want to go back to

Does your child have a tablet / personal device ?
My daughter has a kindle fire kids tablet which we bought for long car journeys and holidays (airports airplane, bored in restaurants etc). Fortunately shes like me and 'gaming' really isnt her thing. Shes socially driven and needs movement. So, we do let her play games on it if she wants but she ba
