Solved..! Kinda. Workaround was to put an unmanaged network switch between my ONT and Eero 7 Pro. (Link to reddit post at bottom of post)

So now I have ONT -> network switch -> Eero 7 Pro -> Desktop.

Where every -> is an Ethernet cable.

I believe it's just a mesh extension. Wifi 7 etc. are way beyond 900Mbps and Wifi 6 was too. The wifi isn't the bottleneck with a 900Mbps service. It's just for extra coverage. When my 900Mbps with 2 x Eero is installed, I intend to let the engineer do "whatever" with the Eero and then I'll box them

The Eero 7 has a 2.5gbps port, which is nice, but I use it to connect to my ps5 which I believe only supports 1gbps anyway. Mainly I'm just tired of the eero being super inconsistent. I'll look into the BE25 and BE5000. Thanks!
