Helio Ring was Amazfit's biggest flop - change my mind
Other than the battery, the other 2 seem like a you problem. Features reduntant? Of course, what did you expect? That the Helio Ring would had a bunch of other sensors a smartwatch don't have? It's the same thing as the Helio Strap, it's about convenience. Maybe you feel like wearing a mechanical wa

Helio Ring was Amazfit's biggest flop - change my mind
A few things - Resale value on "value" brands tend to be pretty poor across the board. It's the same with camera lenses, tablets, TVs, etc where the big brands hold their value (at least somewhat), whereas the less known brands drop significantly after purchase. The reality is that Amazfit is pretty

Amazfit Appreciation Post
I'm on the same boat... I was rocking balance 1 gen for four years, the best watch I've ever had... But unfortunately, the time has come for a change, so I bought balance 2, and it's such a great successor to the first one... Then I bought a Helio strap, just to be able to switch watches from time t

Unfortunately, can not recommend RingConn 2
It's a general issue with smart rings, unfortunately. I've tried an Amazfit Helio Ring that barely lasted 2.5 days from the get go. My first Oura Gen 3 died within a few months. I've been using the replacement ring for 2.5 years and still get 3.5 days out of it. Not great but acceptable. The Gen 4 s

Garmin on my left wrist. Amazfit on my right wrist. 🤷🏻♂️
I've ditched my Polar and gone all out Zepp/Amazfit. I used to have Amazfit watches and had the weighing scales too, but I've had Polar for the last few years. I've ditched the smart watch as a daily for the last year, so I was looking at other screen less options to track daily steps/activeness and

Helio Ring was Amazfit's biggest flop - change my mind
Sadly it's battery technology on rings that's the flop, rather than just Helio. I see the same stories for Oura, Ringconn, and Ultrahuman. Failure rates are high, duration drops fast, and getting warranty replacement is uneven. Perhaps next gen tech like coming out in Ultrahuman Pro will be better,

Zepp app doesn't use your personal Max HR to calculate HR zones, it just uses the generic estimate 220-age? Surely that's an easy fix?
Well, I own it for 2 weeks now, and I can tell you this is another world (in my use case at least). HR is great for me, no weird measurements at the moment, but as soon as I run, I use a Polar H10 to receive the LT1 & LT2 estimation by ZoneSense, which is pretty amazing. At rest, all is in line with

Looking for an affordable smart ring - first time buyer!
At the moment - the Amazfit Helio Ring makes great sense - battery life is rubbish, but the rest is good. It is a great starter pack, and it won't lock you into a subscription plan. And in 3-4 months you may realize that smart rings are not your thing - if you opt for Oura now, it will be not that e

Do any of these products have reliable batteries? Or just issues all around?
I use the Amazfit Helio Ring and love it. No subscription either. I get about 3-4 days until I need to charge. I don’t do intense workouts but I’ll do about 1.5 hours of walking “workout” and a run here and there. I’m sure you’ll find mixed reviews on anything tho. Just my 2 cents
