ASUS ROG SWIFT PG34WCDN is currently in stock at Newegg in the US

Preordered it on Newegg on 4/7, they charged my card on 4/15, and it arrived 4/16. Shipping was $0 and it arrived in 26 hours. I'm coming from a AW3423DW so same size and resolution - looks like a big upgrade so far, brighter, more vibrant colors, clearer text.

Does 'G-Sync Ultimate' matter for anything anymore?

When I went from the Alienware AW3423DW with the G-Sync Ultimate module to the AW3425DW without a module I went from “Why does everyone talk about VRR flicker? I’ve never seen it.” to “Ah, so this is VRR flicker.

For those who have purchased an OLED monitor, do you regret it or would you recommend it?

Kinda mixed feelings honestly. I bought the 1st gen QD-OLED AW3423DW, and I think the picture quality is really good and I've been completely spoiled by the viewing angles. That said, I had to have mine replaced twice due to burn-in over its 3-year lifespan, and my 3rd and current unit (which is now

Noticeable VRR flicker with G-sync Pulsar

Every G‑Sync Compatible and G‑Sync Ultimate display (those with the original hardware module), appears to have this issue. Those with the module perform best, and i therefor kept the AW3423DW instead of the new AW3425DW. Some monitors has worse flicker than others depending on brand. At the moment,

compared text clarity across 30 monitors, 60% of OLEDs scored "Acceptable" or worse for productivity

Are you using 3rd party "clear type" instead of the windows built in clear type? Otherwise I would say that the list would me useless for me. Been rocking the AW3423DW since day 1 of its release and I would say that this monitor is unusable without better clear type or mactype.

Bought a Alienware 34” Ultrawide OLED for 300…..

Is that because of the GSYNC module in the monitor? I have that monitor but just recently got a 4K 32 OLED and the flicker on the new monitor is crazy compared to the AW3423DW. I just thought I hadn’t noticed it before

My Dell monitor is almost two years old, and now no longer works with another display plugged into my pc...

My monitor works fine when plugged into my work laptop. However, as soon as I hook up my old Dell monitor into my work docking station it goes blank again... I think that pretty much confirms it is indeed a monitor issue... especially considering multiple display work on both systems as long as one

How I keep my QD-OLED burn-in free (and make it look this good)

I have an Alienware AW3423DW, after reading this thread I'm concerned I'm going to get burn out in the areas I use. For instance I often play on my other monitor and leave the AW3423DW playing youtube vids that are never ultrawide, so there are black bars at each side of the moving image. Will this

One year on an AW3423DWF and I thought I had escaped burn-in. Narrator: He did not.

My AW3423DW is nearly three years old now. I wouldn't say it has burn-in, but the sides and top of the screen are a bit brighter than the center. It is noticeable when the screen is a dark color.

How is the 5080 for 4k gaming?

Nope. 4080 Super and 5k2k LG 45". I'm not crippled by VRAM and I play MSFS 2024 nearly maxed out (and in VR), Cyberpunk 2077 with RT and near max everything (if I enable path tracing, I end up using DLSS performance but will use Balanced or Quality if I disable path tracing), Doom Dark Ages, really
