You're incorrect about no sync and the different VRR methods. Other people have already covered no sync, so I'll focus on VRR. You're correct that gsync, FreeSync, and adaptive sync are all implementations of VRR. In fact, when you're generalising this hard they don't even deserve their own category

Yea, Asus anti flicker is basically turning off vrr below a specific refresh rate, so it doesn't go into flicker range. You can do the same on most screens with CRU. Every G‑Sync Compatible and G‑Sync Ultimate display (those with the original hardware module), appears to have this issue.
