That part is definitely true. Alienware AW2725Q is only $800 right now though. If you have a $1000+ GPU, might as well pair it with a nice monitor.

If you baby the OLED it'll last the life of the monitor tbh. I have a CX with 9100hrs with 0 burn in and mostly just 3 games used on it. Got it in 2020.
