Recommendations for OLED 34inch Monitor for my gamer bf

LG OLED panels are my personal choice for TVs and monitors. I concur with u/CastoAI’s recommendation of the 34GX90SA-W, although bear in mind it has quite an aggressive curvature of 800R, which may not be to everyone's liking. For monitors, if the panel is only available from LG themselves and not a

34" ultrawide monitor for dev + gaming: OLED vs IPS?

You need an IPS monitor because, as you mentioned, you’ll be using one or two IDEs for around 10 hours a day, which could lead to burn-in issues with an OLED. There are some good 34" IPS monitors, such as the U3425WE or MAG401QR (flat). However, if your work doesn’t require keeping the IDE open for

Best OLED ultrawide under $900 CAD for gaming + Photoshop?

I'm happy with my Samsung G85SD, matte panel coating, but "only" 175hz.AW3425DW (240hz) should be the best out there if you find it cheap, from dell.com you should get -10% using DELL320 code. But OLEDs are not future proof as pixels get slowly dimmer in time...

What Monitor are you getting for the holidays?

Got the Dell Alienware AW3425DW, 240hz, 21:9 34 inch, QD-OLED, upgrading from a budget 144hz IPS. Time to experience that OLED and Ultrawide greatness in one go. It's got a three year burn in warranty so I'm not too concerned about any downsides. And the perfect motion clarity sounds ideal for gamin

MSI - MPG 341CQPX QD OLED vs Alienware - AW3425DW 34 oled out of the two which is better overall and more brighter & if you had to pick out of the two which would you choose and why?

Nice picks, both are top tier. From what I've read, the MSI one tends to be a bit brighter in HDR, especially with its 'QD-OLED' panel. The Alienware has that glossy coating which makes colors pop more, but some find it reflective. Honestly, i'd probably go with the MSI MPG 341CQPX for the extra bri

Which OLED monitor between the msi MPG 341CQPX and Alienware 34 AW3425DW?

Been using the AW3425DW for about 8 months now and honestly it's been solid as hell, the colors are insane compared to my old IPS panel and I haven't had any burn-in issues despite gaming for hours daily. The MSI is newer with better brightness but the Alienware's QD-OLED tech just hits different, p

OLED Monitors

I mainly play with LG 32gs95ue and Samsung G81SF with zero issues whatsoever. I'll be picking up the new Alienware AW3425DW soon for the ultrawide experience. Like others have said, I was worried about the UI burn in so I rotate between these monitors every other day lol, but so far I don't notice a

OLED Monitors

I've had the Alienware AW3425DW for over 6 months and I have no burn in whatsoever. The monitor does maintenance/refresh every 4 hours which lasts 5-10 minutes and that seems to be sufficient.
